Clean equipment protects every stage of poultry and meat production. IWM designs and builds industrial washing machines for the trays, racks, crates and containers that move your product, from hatchery to despatch. With over 40 years of experience, we supply standard machines and bespoke systems sized to your throughput.
Hatchery: egg trays, setter trays and hatching racks, washed consistently between cycles.
Processing and portioning: production trays, lugs, crates, utensils and meat moulds, including moulds where residue is hard to shift.
Packing and distribution: returnable crates, dolavs and bulk containers, pallets and bins, ready for the next load.
Whether you handle fresh or frozen product, whole birds or cut portions, each stage has its own cleaning standard. We build the machine around it.
For trays and crates, our tray washers range from the T200 to the T1500. The T200 washes up to 200 standard 600 x 400 crates per hour, the T400 washes 400 per hour, and the T1500 handles 1,200 to 1,500 items per hour.
For racks and trolleys, the R30 rack washer handles 10 to 20 racks per hour, and the R40 handles 30 to 40 racks per hour.
For dolavs and bulk containers, our DC20 and DT50 dolav washers are built to your container size and volume.
For utensils, tools and small items, the CW 6, CW 8 and CW 13 cabinet washers run 2, 4 or 6 minute cycles (maximum 10 minutes).
Not sure which fits? Tell us what you wash and how many per hour, and we will recommend a machine.
Clean equipment is only half of the picture. For entry points and changing rooms, we supply boot washers, shoe and wheel disinfection, and hand disinfection stations, so people and vehicles don’t carry contamination into clean areas.
Most sites start with a standard machine and adapt it. If your layout or items are unusual, our design team can build a bespoke system. If budget is the priority, see our refurbished machines and finance and leasing options.
